Mission
The mission of the Wolcott Public Schools is to promote the academic, social, and emotional development of all students to become contributing members of the global community.

Our schools have established a reputation for providing an excellent comprehensive education program.
The school district has three elementary schools (grades K-5), one middle school (grades 6 to 8), and one high school grades (9 to 12). Among the outstanding programs operated by the school system are the following:
- Gifted/talented, grades 3 to 12
- Six-week summer school, grades K-8
- Student services programs for students with special needs
- Latchkey program in three elementary schools available before and after school
- Preschool program for special needs students
- U-Conn Co-op Courses and Advanced Placement courses at Wolcott High School.
- Vocational - Technical Education programs, Grades 6 to 12
- Wolcott - Ukraine student exchange program
Parent and community involvement in school programs and activities is highly encouraged.
