Senior Center
Mission Statement
Officially known as the "Charles Rietdyke Senior Center", our center is most often referred to as simply the "Wolcott Senior Center". Its mission is to provide a central location where older adults can receive information and participate in programs and activities which are essential for promoting health, independence, and well-being.
We are committed to doing our best to ensure that the Charles Rietdyke Senior Center is a safe and welcoming facility for seniors of all ages that wish to participate in our programming.
Since we do not provide the oversight and supervision of that offered at adult day facilities, our policy requires that those persons using our programs be physically and mentally able to do so independently or be accompanied by a companion to assist them.
Our priority is the safety and enjoyment of everyone using the Senior Center.
Joining
There is no fee to join the Wolcott Senior Center. Seniors must be 55 years of age. You do not need to be a Wolcott resident to become a member - Everyone Is Welcome.
Come join the fun, there is a way something to do. Please fill out an Emergency Contact Form upon arrival. A variety of daily activities and bus trips are available to keep you busy. There are also special monthly activities that change throughout the year.
