Zoning Board of Appeals

Mission

The Zoning Board of Appeals hears and decides upon appeals and special exceptions and determines the application of the zoning bylaws, ordinances, or regulations. A legal hardship must be stated in order to submit an application for a Variance.

Meetings

  • 6 pm
  • 2nd Wednesday of every month, only if an application is received. If no applications are received within the required deadline, the Regular Meetings are automatically canceled.
  • Council Chambers, Wolcott Town Hall

The deadline for applications is 3 weeks prior to a meeting.

The Public Hearing sign must be posted on a property at least 10 days prior to a meeting (sign is provided upon acceptance of an application).
