The Wolcott Youth Football & Cheer Association is a non-profit youth football and spirit (cheerleading) organization serving young athletes, ages 5 to 15 years old, in Wolcott, CT and surrounding areas. We are a member of the Western Connecticut Pop Warner League, a subsidiary of the Pop Warner National Football and Cheerleading Organization. The league focuses on building strength in character of both mind and body through youth athletics. Our main priorities are not winning and losing but rather teaching the correct fundamentals of both football and cheerleading while also instilling the highest level of academic achievement, leadership, sportsmanship, and team contribution that can carry over later in life.

WYLC was founded in November 2008 as a way to get the exciting sport of youth lacrosse into the town of Wolcott for girls and boys. Wolcott Youth Lacrosse's goal is to promote lacrosse among Wolcott and neighboring town youth through age-based programs open to all interested participants. To achieve this goal, the club focuses on teaching good basic fundamentals, developing players through game skills and promoting good sportsmanship, respecting all participants and focusing on teamwork.
