225th Anniversary Celebration

Come celebrate the 225th Anniversary of the founding of Wolcott. There will be plenty of food, fun, activities and music over the course of two days. See below for the schedule.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2021
Town Green – in front of 10 Kenea Avenue
• 10:00AM – Opening Ceremony with Mayor Thomas Dunn;
• Brief History of Wolcott;
• Center School Museum open;
• Mattatuck Fife & Drum Corp.

Woodtick Recreation – 201 Nichols Road
• 12:00PM – Vendors & “Taste of Wolcott”;
• 12:00PM – Wolcott Lions Dam Race Award Ceremony;
• 12:00PM – 4:00PM – Golf cart rides around the Mill Pond Way trail;
• 1:00PM – 4:00PM – “Touch a Truck” – Lower Woodtick Rec Area;
• 1:00PM – 4:00PM – Games and Children’s activities;
• Demonstrations by vendors;
Main Stage entertainment:
– 2:00PM – 4:00PM : To Be Announced
– 4:30PM – 6:30PM : Bourbon Creek
– 7:00PM – 9:00PM : Crosseyed Cat
