There is a world of information available on the Internet. Find latest news headlines, information on stocks, business, medicine, sports, recipes, and travel. The Internet is a collection of interconnected computers able to communicate with each other using telephone lines, fiber optic cables and satellite links. The word Internet is just a simple way of saying Interconnected Networks.

Public Computers
The Wolcott Public Library offers our patrons access to computers which are connected to the Internet. Due to the high volume of usage, the amount of time that patrons can use these computers is metered. This is to insure that all of our patrons have equal access.

One Hour Maximum Sessions during these times:

  • Monday-Thursday 5:00 pm - 8:00pm
  • Saturday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm 

Two-hour Maximum Sessions per day during these times:

  • Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
  • Monday-Thursday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Internet Usage Tutorials
The Wolcott Public Library offers one-on-one tutorial sessions as an introduction to Internet information. These personalized sessions are available for everyone. If you have never used a computer or have little computer expertise, you can learn to browse the Internet. For more information about tutorial sessions call Rosemary West, Computer Coordinator at 203-879-8110.
