About our Club:
For over 50 years, the Wolcott Lions have been proud and active members of Lions Club International, the largest non-profit service organization in the world. Our 100+ members serve the community of Wolcott, the State of Connecticut, and the world.

Each year, the club raises money through a variety of events so that the proceeds from these events can be given back to countless needy individuals, families and worthy organizations on a local and regional basis. To name a few:

* Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE)
* CT Lions Eye Research Foundation (CLERF)
* College Scholarships for local students
* Post Prom Party - providing a safe environment
* Halloween Dance for middle school children
* Holiday Food Baskets for the needy
* Senior Day Picnic for our elderly residents
* Red Cross Blood Drives
* Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation

Our single largest fund raiser for the past 25+ years is the Wolcott Country Fair. Our fair, called a "major fair" by the Association of Connecticut Fairs, is in the highest classification of fairs in our state which means the fair-goer will be treated to an excellent and educational time.
