COVENANT TO CARE FOR CHILDREN
The Junior Woman’s Club of Wolcott is sponsoring the "Discovered Spirit Art Exhibit". These colorful masks have been painted by children of CT DCF, the Foster Care System and of the Covenant to Care for Children mentoring system. Under the guidance given by professional artists, these children were given a voice by encouraging self expression through art. The goal of this project was to bring a broader awareness of Covenant to Care for Children and the children they serve, to offer an opportunity at recognition and accomplishment to the children participating and to build support of their program.
Please stop by and view this wonderful art. The exhibit will be traveling for the remainder of the year and the masks are available for purchase at $100.00 each. The proceeds of this project will be used to support the programs of Covenant to Care for Children, the Connecticut Junior Woman’s State Project.
